I am SO excited and honored to welcome THE Toby Rowland, Voice of Sooners and the NEW Sports Director of Channel 9-KWTV OKC to this week’s episode!
Toby was Born a Sooner fan, and his favorite sooner memory is watching our football team win the 1985 Natty. Being the voice of the Sooners is truly a dream job for him, and hearing him tell his journey of how he got here is truly inspiring.
Off the record, Toby and I Talked about his kidney issue from last year and I wished him better luck on this year’s vacation (which he was able to make this time lol!)! He is truly such an amazing, humble person and I’m so thankful to have gotten the opportunity to host him on the show!

Also in a recent interview, Toby stated that his favorite post game snack are Reese’s Pieces, so Someone needs to get him some Reese’s pieces for post game in the booth! Also one of my fave quotes from him is where he said he doesn’t eat at a restaurant with the words “Texas” or “longhorn” in the title lol!
